Imperfect Geometry series of images were meant to be meditation aids. They are simple geometric patterns made complex through a trail of radial motion and use of color. While our minds wander off from contemplation of simple patterns, having “figured it out,” these more complex variations of simple patterns seem to hold our minds in the state of contemplation longer.

Summer has been my season of rebirth for a few years now. This Summer feels even more potent as I am coming back to lush green Oregon after a five month stay in Arizona, where I was recovering my health and had much deliberate thought about my creative and professional endeavors.
In the past three years I've been trying to maintain five different websites for my art projects, my two books, my design and consulting practice and multiple attempts at blog platforms. Being on the road as much as I have been in past six years made it difficult to keep all those websites updated and functioning, so I knew I needed a new way to present my work.

Break Time at Ernie's is the title of the book I've been designing in the Spring of 2017. Ernie Adams is an incredibly talented individual who makes Dwarf Cars. The book design process is almost complete and on June 22nd I have had a chance to visit Ernie's Dwarf Car Museum with the book's producer Joey Robert Parks and meet the author of the book, Ernie's son, Kevin Adams. This is the first post of at least a couple about Ernie, Kevin, Dwarf Cars and this book project.
